Red Riding Hood

This was a Portraiture Photography project in which we looked into Annie Leibovitz's work. We learnt that she does Portraiture shoots for Vogue magazine, one of which had an Alice in Wonderland theme running throughout.
We were given a brief to choose our own fairy tale and create Portraiture images in response to her work. I chose Little Red Riding Hood as I wanted to go for a mysterious theme where I could convey the story in my own perspective.
The images show Little Red in the forest scene, Red being played by my sister, Ashley. This series focuses on the deep red cape and how the main character is alone in the woods, but senses a danger lurking. I portrayed this by editing a vignette around the photos to create a darker atmosphere.
