Frozen

In this project, we researched Bruce Boyd and his Macro Photography work which zooms in on plants and flowers frozen in ice. This was one of my favourite projects because the ice melted quite quickly, which put a bit of a unique spin into my work as the ice cracked and revealed more of the plant.
We came back to school after Christmas and were finishing a project. The teacher made a list of Photography topics which we were allowed to pick from, and I picked Macro Photography. I wanted to combine the inspirations of two of my previous projects (Flowers and Ice/Frost), which is where my teacher introduced his work to me which lined up with my vision perfectly.
Throughout this project, I was given feedback by this teacher in the form of both positive and possible improvements, which I then took forward and incorporated into my work.
